Tweedsmuir Park Lodge is one of the best places in the world to see grizzly bears in their natural habitat. The annual salmon run draws large numbers of grizzlies to the riverbanks, creating once-in-a-lifetime bear viewing opportunities. The annual salmon run from August to October draws grizzlies in large numbers. Guests can watch from our private viewing platform or on a walk or a drift tour. Other wildlife includes black bears, moose, deer, mountain goats, and eagles.
