An experience of a lifetime awaits you onboard the magnificent Blue Manta Explorer. Stable, spacious and safe, the Blue Manta Explorer is fully equipped to take you on a fascinating diving adventure in the magical waters of Indonesia.
The Blue Manta Explorer is possibly the largest purpose-built dive vessel in the region. Measuring 45m (148 ft) by 9m (29ft), this steel hull vessel will only take 18 guests. The 14 beautifully furnished en-suite cabins, each average 20sqm (200sf) in size, an open outdoor alfresco dining area, an indoor air-conditioned room for finer dining, speaks of the perfect onboard ambiance of a luxurious dive holiday.
There are 4 double bed cabins and two twin cabins on the upper deck plus 4 twin cabins are located on the main deck, towards the bow. The final 4 cabins are on the lower deck.
You will enjoy the large communal areas on this boat. There is a salon with a plasma TV, DVD and media server. There’s 24 hour satellite internet providing on board wifi available so you can easily stay in touch with family at home. On the upper deck is a is a sun deck with lounge chairs for sunbathing and a covered area for shade, perfect for relaxing in between dives. Up to 5 meals a day are served by the top notch chefs - dine alfresco in the outdoor dining area or in the indoor air-conditioned dining area. You will never go hungry. The dive deck is equipped with personal rinse tanks and a wide outdoor work table for underwater digital cameras. On the main deck you will find dedicated indoor camera room with plenty of space & charging stations. Full equipment rentals are available onboard, all scuba tanks have din or yoke fittings and there are larger tanks available for those requiring a little extra air. Enjoy a warm towel, hot drink and fresh fruit after every dive.
8 day/7 night Raja Ampat Sample Itinerary
(All schedules are subjected to changes according to weather, sea, & diving conditions)
Raja Ampat will immerse you in a diving paradise, 50,000 square Kilometers of islands & reefs, 580 kinds of coral, 1,397 species of fish including 23 endemics, this truly is the epicenter of marine biodiversity with the world’s richest collection of underwater flora & fauna. The sheer abundance of marine life, healthy colourful reefs, and diverse dive sites will leave even the most experienced divers wanting more! The stunning beauty of Raja Ampat's exotic & enchanting islands both above and below the water will leave you in no doubt that this truly is one of the worlds premier diving destinations.
Day 1. (0-1 dives) 5pm; arrival from Jakarta, Ujungpandang, or Manado to Sorong. Staff will meet you at Sorong Airport and transfer you to the awaiting Blue Manta. Once all guests are onboard you will receive a very warm welcome, briefing, dinner, then we set sail to Raja Ampat. Possible Check dive at Red Light District (Lampu Merah) just outside Sorong if all arrive early.
Day 2. (4 dives) Misool; Wayil area with its beautiful lagoon for boat tour and super dives.
Day 3. (3 dives) Misool; Fiabacet & Boo area. Sail to overnight to Central & North Raja Ampat.
Day 4. (4 dives) Pianemu area; including famous Melissa’s Garden and stunning View Point hike.
Day 5. (4 dives) Manta ridge & Dampier Strait
Day 6. (4 dives) Kri area; including Big Fish, Cape Kri, Sardine Run, & excellent night dive.
Day 7. (2 dives) Misokon island; including Blue Magic & Yellow Fever then sail back to Sorong Port. Plenty of time to wash & dry equipment, have lunch, and rest & relaxation.
Day 8. (0 dives) 6am-12pm. Check out after breakfast, farewells, and transfer to airport. Departure from Sorong to Manado/ Makassar/ Jakarta/ Denpasar.
Diving days: 6 days (22 dives)
