Casa Luna is located in the small, friendly town of Fortuna in San Carlos with imposing views of Arenal Volcano. This rustic colonial style hotel lies among beautiful and peaceful gardens under the shadow of major inactive volcanoes and distant mountains. Hotel Casa Luna offers 18 guest rooms on the first floor and an additional 18 guest rooms on the second floor. Each has a balcony or terrace to soak up the incredible views. There are also 4 Superior rooms with connecting rooms which are ideal for families, plus 2 spacious Junior Suites.
The guest rooms are set in individual modules of 4 rooms, each carefully placed to offer incredible views of the Arenal Volcano and Cerro Chato Hill, and among the natural springs and lush tropical gardens of the property. Standard rooms come with 2 queen size beds, air conditioning, telephone, TV, coffee/tea making, mini-bars and WiFi. The spacious Junior Suites offer King size beds, sofa beds and private Jacuzzis.
The Luna Grill and Bar is a rustic style restaurant surrounded by beautiful gardens and amazing views of the majestic Arenal Volcano. You can get your morning started with a complementary typical or American style breakfast. At lunch and dinner time, you may experience the variety of flavors from our national and international cuisine. Our “a la carte” menu, offers a special selection of cold and hot appetizers, pastas, rice, seafood, poultry and beef.
There’s so much to do in the Arenal region. The La Fortuna Waterfall is located at a short 5 minute drive from the hotel, where you will discover the beautiful 60 meter falls submerged in the rainforest. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the clean fresh waters of the Arenal River. Other places to visit include the Arenal Hanging Bridges, Ecocentro Danaus, adventure tours like canopy, rafting, Canyoning, horseback rides, and ATVs, and just a short distance from La Fortuna you can visit the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge, the Venado Caves, and the Peñas Blancas River.
