Terri + Paul's Excellent Adventure in Alaska  - Jun 2025

The Uncruise trip on the Wilderness Adventure was like an adult camping adventure on a floating home. The staff were delightful and so knowledgeable about the geology and animal life. The food was delicious and the creative cocktails and beer on tap were much appreciated after a day of bushwhacking and kayaking.

The animal life we encountered was awesome. We saw a mama bear with her two cubs, a party of hump back whales that were super curious about our boat so they came right to our ship, as well as sea otters, sea lions, and eagles.

With this itinerary we spent 2 days in Glacier bay kakaking with our fabulous guides getting up super close unlike the large cruise ships- they can’t experience it up close like we did. We heard the thunderous sound of the glaciers calving and saw the different blues and stages of the ice. It was truly exceptional.
