Kilima Camp
Dreamy Yasawa Island Resort is discretely hidden among the palms on a stretch of pristine white beach, facing west towards the setting sun. The resort’s only neighbors are in a handful of traditional Fijian villages nearby with no other development on the island. You have a choice of 11 pristine white beaches to choose from for a secluded picnic.
Indulge in heavenly seclusion in an area renowned for its velvety, white sand beaches and crystal clear tropical waters. At Yasawa Island Resort & Spa there are no other resorts, no televisions, and no traffic; just the sounds of the palm trees swaying and the ocean lapping mere steps from your private villa. The resort features a new beachfront bar, boutique, lounge, and library. The al fresco restaurant with ocean views features an air-conditioned wine room – perfect for romantic dinners.
Yasawa Island Resort and Spa is an exclusive all-inclusive resort on one of the most remote and unspoiled islands of Fiji. Just 18 luxury bungalows are hidden among the palms, each just a few steps from a pristine white beach. Swim in crystal clear waters, explore any of our 10 private beaches, dive on vividly colored corals, connect with an ancient culture or indulge in Fiji's first beachfront spa. Whatever you choose to do at Yasawa, you'll do it in complete seclusion.
Bure Suites
The six Bure Suites set a luxurious benchmark with their modern styling, open plan and ocean views. Scattered in pairs among the palms, they share just one adjoining wall and are positioned for privacy, the only thing guests will see and hear from inside is the ocean.
Deluxe Beachfront Bures
Yasawa’s ten Deluxe Beachfront Bures are vast and free standing, offering ocean panoramas from inside and out. A split-level design creates separate living and sleeping areas inside, while broad decks, shaded day beds and private outdoor showers extend the living space outside.
Two Bedroom Bure
Perched on a rise overlooking the rest of the resort is the expansive Two Bedroom Bure. With two separate bedrooms either side of a large central living area, the two-bedroom bure is ideal for two couples travelling together or a family with older children. Its elevated outdoor deck provides magnificent views over the island and out to sea.
Honeymoon Bure
Hidden from the rest of the resort at the end of a deserted white beach, the Honeymoon Bure is a private retreat with its own horizon pool overlooking the ocean. This is Yasawa at its best, absolute luxury and complete seclusion.
Yasawa Island Resort and Spa is inclusive of all gourmet meals & snacks, all non-alcoholic beverages, and complimentary wifi in all of the public spaces. The inclusion of all standard activities (kayaks, stand up paddle boards, tennis, guided walks, catamaran, etc) plus all scheduled activities like Village Visits, half day Blue Lagoon Caves trips, guided snorkeling trips and private beach picnics make a stay at Yasawa incredible value and offers you a stress free way to enjoy your Fiji holiday.
Blue Lagoon Caves
One of Yasawa’s unique water based activities is an excursion to the Blue Lagoon Caves. Travel the picturesque length of Yasawa Island by boat with your fellow guests; skim over turquoise waters and past incredible cliffs and beaches. Hidden beneath a dramatic volcanic peak at the southern end of Yasawa Island are the Blue Lagoon Caves, one of the settings for the 1980 movie starring Brooke Shields and Christopher Atkins. Visit this spectacular lagoon and swim within its hidden chambers, linked to the sea by underwater passages.
Yasawa Island Resort is surrounded by deserted beaches, ready of you to enjoy a specially prepared private beach picnic. Whether it’s an afternoon relaxing on the beach or a romantic getaway, our friendly staff will pack a delightful picnic for you to enjoy. Like all meals at Yasawa Island Resort, the private beach picnic is included in the all-inclusive tariff.
Scuba Diving + Snorkeling
Yasawa Island is made up of rugged volcanic rock whose sheer cliffs fall into the sea creating the most amazing limestone coral formations and drops offs. The island is surrounded by uncharted reefs, submerged in turquoise and jade green seas. Our remote location gives us the enviable situation of having all of Yasawa’s incredible dive sites to ourselves. The western side of the island (where the resort is located) is surrounded by magnificent, unspoiled coral reefs and offers a broad cross section of dive possibilities for all levels of divers. Some sites offer gentle current, others little or none. Let the expertise of our dive team assist with dive site choices of the day, taking into consideration local sea conditions, tides, currents and your dive experience. For those wanting to try scuba diving for the first time, the resort offers complimentary PADI Discover Scuba Diving pool sessions and PADI Open Water Certification courses.
Cultural Activities
On an island overlooked by the modern world, Yasawa offers an intimate and authentic cultural experience. With the permission of the chief, guests can visit the nearby village of Bukama where school children offer a welcome in song. Or at the resort, guests might take part in a lovo (Fijian feast), witness an evening Meke (dance ceremony), or sense the full resonance of Fijian voices when the village choir pays a visit on Sunday evenings.
Cooking Demonstrations
Yasawa Island Resort & Spa takes great care to ensure all guests enjoy their dining experience in Fiji. Our freshly caught seafood and local produce will be available for when you experience our local cooking demonstrations. Cooking style is Fijian, featuring traditional South Pacific recipes using all local ingredients, herbs and spices and you'll be able to return home and recreate your Fijian experience for your friends and family.
Kava Ceremony
It is difficult to market the cultural component of a visit to Yasawa, but undoubtedly it is these experiences that guests remark on the most. Fiji is famous for its kava, and here at Yasawa Island Resort & Spa you'll be able to partake in a traditional Fijian kava ceremony. You'll love our resort, the beaches, and the food, but it is our local community and culture that touches you and leaves a lasting imprint on your heart, long after you have departed these sandy shores.
The easiest way to travel to Yasawa Island Resort and Spa is via the daily charter service. The journey is a short 25 minute flight from Nadi International Airport. Your scenic flight takes you along the coast of Viti Levu, and over the turquoise reefs and spectacular islands of the Yasawa Islands group. For our guests, this exclusive transfer is the first of many highlights in your truly memorable holiday at Yasawa.
