Spicers Peak Lodge, a member of Luxury Lodges of Australia and a recipient of Two MICHELIN Keys, sits more than 1,100 meters above sea level surrounded by the protected landscapes of Main Range National Park and the Scenic Rim. The tour includes a drive through cattle country, a stop at Lake Moogerah and a chance to take in the views from some spectacular lookouts.

Can-Am Adventure
The wonders of Spicers Peak Lodge are best explored by Can-Am. Discover the rugged terrain with a personal guide as you travel to the very edges of our stunning property. Venture through creek crossings, across extensive farmland and stop for a picnic lunch at Bellbird Weir. This adventure is ideal for all age groups and fitness levels and will be a highlight of your visit to Peak Lodge.

Millar Vale Creek Hike
Embark on a half-day tour to Millar Vale Creek from Spicers Peak Lodge and explore volcanic rock walls which are millions of years old, along with platypus habitat and bat caves. Taking place on our own private property, this is truly an exclusive Spicers’ experience. The walk ventures along unmarked trail that follows Millar Vale Creek from west to east. It begins on an open, flat area of dry sclerophyll forest before descending into the gorge where we explore the creek system, home to turtles, freshwater mussels and crayfish.

Queen Mary Falls & Surrounds 4WD Tour
Take in a variety of Australian country landscapes as you drive through the Darling Downs and over the mountains. There are many delightful spots to enjoy the views, such as over the Scenic Rim and the wonderful Condamine Gorge. Far away from the crowds, see lovely waterfalls including Queen Mary Falls in UNESCO World Heritage-listed rainforest. Spot kangaroos and feed brightly colored birds. Walk ‘inside’ a secret giant strangler fig (walk lengths vary depending on guest’s interests and fitness levels).

Wine Trail
The Granite Belt Wine Trail is Queensland’s premier wine destination where the air is clear and the country views are delightful. Unwind and delight your taste buds with gourmet foods and renowned wines. With over 50 wineries, your personalized tour can be tailored to your taste in wines.

Learn about the early settlers’ Italian influence on the region’s wines. There is an option to add stops at a range of small businesses along the way, including cheese and chocolate shops, the Aloomba Lavender Farm and local art galleries.
