Sediba Sa Rona

Sediba Sa Rona is primed to be one of the most spectacular properties in the Khwai Concession—the meeting point of iconic ecosystems and home to some of Botswana’s largest concentrations of wildlife. *Opening 16 March 2026 with bookings now available. Guests are offered every opportunity to witness the abundant game that flocks to this vital ecological hub—a key wildlife corridor sustained by the Khwai River and the lodge’s position between the Okavango Delta’s eastern fan and Moremi Game Reserve. All 15 Luxury Tents are river-facing and en suite. The main area comprises a stunning fire deck, pool, bar, spa, curio shop and various al fresco dining spaces, among other striking features. Inclusive activities include twice-daily game drives plus optional night drives. Seasonal mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) excursions cover the Khwai River, and birding is fantastic. Mokoro
Explore the Khwai River’s shallower channels and floodplains by mokoro (a traditional dugout canoe, expertly polled by the incredible guides. This is a stunning way to slow down and absorb nature’s marvelous lesser-known inhabitants, which may surprise as big highlights—from reed frogs to water lilies and the mysterious sitatunga antelope.

Birding
Birding is out of this world year-round with stunning feathered residents, such as kingfishers (including Pied, Malachite, Giant, Woodland, and Mangrove), African fish eagles and African jacanas. Avid birder or curious novice, seeing a highly elusive Pel’s fishing owl is a special opportunity and, if spotted, is a special moment to cherish.

Walking
Explore the concession in search big game such as elephants, wild dogs and cats, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

Game Drives
Game drives depart twice daily in the morning and afternoon, with the occasional option of walks from the vehicle. Night drives in the concession can be requested in place of or in addition to afternoon drives and depart after dinner. Optional day trips into Moremi Game Reserve are available on request (strictly no night drives in Moremi Game Reserve).

For a perspective of Khwai and its stunning surroundings from above, embark on a scenic helicopter flight.
