Robert’s Grove Beach Resort is a beautifully appointed Hacienda-style beach resort nestled on 22 acres of the finest white sand beach in Placencia. You can arrive in Placencia by air, a 35-minute flight from Belize City, or by road, a 2-1/2 hour drive to the sleepy southern beaches of Belize. This ideal location allows guests to be surrounded by Belize’s best attractions- the Barrier Reef, tropical rainforest & Mayan ruins.
Robert’s Grove features a wide range of accommodations to choose from. There are 52 air-conditioned, Spanish tiled rooms from standard nature rooms, to ocean view standard rooms, suites and studios. There are even one, two and three bedroom villas, some with private pools. All have the comforts and modern conveniences one would expect from a fine beach resort. There are three private beachfront pools and a host of complimentary activities and amenities that include free wireless internet, tennis court, fitness room, bicycles, pedal boats, kayaks, windsurfers and Hobie Cats. The Seaside Restaurant, with its accompanying bar and lounge, serves an international menu along with local specialties. Habanero Mexican Cafe & Bar offers a full range of Mexican dishes, overlooking the Placencia Lagoon at the Robert’s Grove Marina.
The resort’s Water Activity Center features the most diverse water sport activities in southern Belize. At the resort’s 5-Star PADI Dive Center a highly skilled team of dive instructors and dive masters are on standby for instruction as well as daily trips to the many exciting dive locations in our area. You’ll explore the world's second largest Great Barrier Reef which runs south along the coast of Belize. This is a broad expanse of coral reef with channels that go down from 90 to 110 feet, but rise abruptly into shoals and cayes, providing many nearby SCUBA locations. At last official count there are a minimum of 20 named Belize diving sites in the southern waters off Placencia, bursting with untouched coral and abundant fish life. Snorkeling, fishing and island hopping are available plus overnight stays at two privately owned islands. The resort also operates a wide range of tours and excursions to the rainforest and Mayan ruins, including Cockscomb Jaguar Preserve and Monkey River.
After a day of adventure exploring Belize’s magnificent barrier reef and the wonders of its tropical rainforest, head to the Sea Spa for some well-deserved pampering.
