Scuba diving day trips with National Park authorized local dive operators can be booked prior to arrival. An international open water dive certification is legally required, and good physical condition is essential. Gear can be rented from local operators when booking.

Strong currents and low visibility can challenge even experienced divers on certain days. Scuba diving in Galapagos requires a minimum intermediate-advanced skill level.
