N'Weti

Opening August 2026 - photo update coming soon

Perched on a hill overlooking the Timbavati River, N’weti Camp enjoys unending views across the reserve. The distant Drakensberg Mountains silhouette inspired the camp’s name - ‘N’weti’, meaning “silhouette” in Tsonga. This wild landscape sets the tone for a safari experience where adventure and contemporary luxury meet.

Each suite reflects the natural tones of the surrounding wilderness, with earthy browns, soft greens and calming neutrals. Polished screed floors, natural stone, textured finishes and warm timber details create a tactile, grounded atmosphere that connects seamlessly with the landscape beyond.

A welcoming foyer leads into the master bedroom, where a king sized bed is positioned to take full advantage of the sweeping views. A half moon lounge nook offers a comfortable space to unwind, while floor to ceiling glass doors open onto a curved timber deck designed to maximise light and connection to the outdoors.

Beyond the bedroom, a spacious dressing area leads to an elegant bathroom with double vanities, a freestanding bath and both indoor and outdoor showers. Outside, the private deck and stone clad infinity pool create a peaceful setting from which to experience the rhythms of the African bush. (sabisabicoll - sandringham)

At this Private Game Reserve in South Africa, your days are built around world-class wildlife viewing. The premier activities include twice-daily open-vehicle game drives to spot the Big Five, morning bush walks to learn tracking, and luxurious lodge amenities, stargazing, and fine dining. Set on a formerly hunted landscape, the reserve has undergone a major rewilding effort, restoring the land as an integral wildlife corridor for the Greater Kruger ecosystem. Guests can view the "Big 5" with minimal vehicle traffic.

Twice-Daily Game Drives: Led by expert rangers and trackers, you’ll enjoy off-road wildlife viewing to get close to lions, leopards, and elephants. Sunset drives often feature "sundowner" drinks and snacks in the middle of the bush.

Guided Bush Walks: Get a ground-level perspective of the lowveld. Your ranger will teach you how to track animals, identify tracks, and observe smaller flora and fauna.

Cultural Village Tours: Take a trip to the local communities to learn about the local culture, storytelling, and the reserve’s ongoing community and educational projects.

Stargazing: Away from city light pollution, enjoy clear-sky views of the Southern Hemisphere with the naked eye or through high-powered telescopes.
