Mango Wind

The sleek Nautilus Gallant Lady is a 116 foot yacht that accommodates just 12 guests in 6 large suites. She has recently been refitted and refurbished as well as implementing higher hygiene standards. Cabins are located on the lower and main deck, with a choice of 5 Superior Suites and one larger Premium Suite. Each room features individually controlled AC, a California King or two double beds, ample storage space and private en-suite bathrooms.

This vessel has been thoughtfully designed with plenty of comfortable social areas to chill out. The sky-lounge with hot-tub on the top deck is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail at the end of the day and the sundeck is a great place to relax with a book between dives. The main salon and dining room feature a fully stocked bar and wrap-around views. A fusion of Mexican and West Coast North American cuisine is freshly prepared by the onboard chef and all dietary requirements can be catered for with advance notice.

Based in the Sea of Cortez, the Nautilus Gallant Lady offers year-round diving to 2 exciting destinations. From May-October the boat is based in the northern Sea of Cortez at Bahia de Los Angeles. This area is home to the largest aggregation of whale sharks in the Sea of Cortez, as well as a large number of sea lions. Lucky divers may also get the chance to see the Humboldt squid at night.

From September to December, the boat cruises further south to the Cabo Pulmo Marine Park, which has made an extraordinary comeback in the past years. Referred to as some as a 'mini-Galapagos', Cabo Pulmo offers regular sightings of bull sharks, tiger sharks, sea lions, huge schools of fish and even manta rays.

The Lady is available for private charters in the Sea of Cortez, as well as scheduled trips to Cabo Pulmo Marine Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Sea of Cortez - Mobula Rays & Orcas! 8 days / 7 nights - Cabo

From mid-May to Aug, thousands of mobula rays aggregate in the deep south of the Sea of Cortez, and Nautilus Dive Adventures is excited to unveil a new expedition to witness the mobula migration first-hand aboard the Nautilus Gallant Lady. This expedition has been pioneered by Nautilus and offers incredible marine life encounters. Plus now there's the Nauitlus Scout -- a new chapter in the history of awesome adventures in the Sea of Cortez, with the bold Nautilus Scout, up in the air spotting and guiding the vessel to the best dive/snorkel spots. They’ve found blue whale mommas and calves, giant pregnant whale sharks, sperm whales, finback whales, vast schools of mobula rays, dolphins everywhere and much more—like seeing sharks from the air.

We’ve been plying the Sea of Cortez since 1974 and know some of best, secret spots for unique animal encounters. On this week-long voyage on the Gallant Lady, experience the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to snorkel and freedive with mobula rays and predatory pods of orcas.

Aside from mingling with mobulas and orcas, witness huge pods of dolphins and even the possibility of sperm and fin whales. Mobula rays often like to breach the surface, so there will be ample opportunity to witness these gravity-defying acrobatics out of the water, whether while sipping on an icy beverage on deck or getting up close and personal on a kayak. This is the perfect trip for both divers and snorkelers. (photo by David Serradell).

Sea of Cortez - 5 night trip
The southern Sea of Cortez offers the classic type of diving we remember from the old days. This area took a heavy hit form over fishing in the 1990's but with tight control and regulations by the government of Mexico the life has rebounded. It is once again possible to see schooling hammerheads, mantas, and all the life that the Sea of Cortez is famous for. We will also be traveling further north to La Paz and old favorites like Cerralvo, La Reina, and Las Animas.
Trip meets at SeeCreatures Cabo San Lucas at 04:30 pm on Day 1 for a complimentary transfer to La Paz and your ship where our hostesses will be waiting to welcome you onboard with margaritas and champagne Returning and disembarking in La Paz on final day at 08:30 am with complimentary transfer back to either SJD or SeeCreatures Cabo San Lucas
