Mwiba Plains follows the path of the Great Migration, relocating twice yearly between northern and southern Serengeti. Guests are granted a front-row seat to the procession of more than two million wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle as they traverse the great grass plains.
In its southern location, Songa is situated within Maswa Game Reserve, an exclusive-use wildlife protected area bordering the southern Serengeti. All tents can be set up as twin/king and can accommodate an extra bed (stretcher bed). The decor takes inspiration from the camp's striking setting, from the inky blue skies to the burnt orange sunsets that herald the day's end.
