The hotel's à la carte menu of warm dishes is wholly satisfying, including familiar and spiced-up favourites. But if you can’t wait to get out and explore Cape Town, the deli-style buffet offers grab-’em-and-go options, like bottled smoothies and breakfast pots, whole fruit, and fresh muffins and pastries.
The chefs will also happily cater for any dietary preferences – children have their own breakfasts to choose from, too – and requirements (vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, etc.). More Quarter's Residence
This Residence adjoins More Quarters Neighborhood Hotel in the upmarket suburb of Gardens and can accommodate up to eight guests with four en-suite bedrooms. It has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, and dining area, an outdoor deck with a view, and a swimming pool, and you have your own Residence butler and housekeeper. Being centrally located, this exclusive-use heritage house ticks all the right boxes for family and friends seeking a place to call home during their stay in Cape Town. Although updated with modern touches, as vibrant as our Kloof Street Neighborhood, you can still admire the beautiful hardwood floors and high pressed-steel ceilings. Each room here provides an exceptional view – of either our private garden, the neighborhood, or the city’s iconic table-shaped mountain.
Beyond the Hotel
From your home for the holiday, it is for you to decide how much or little to do… The Hotel Concierge is always available to assist and More Quarters is an ideal base from which to explore the city, surrounding beaches, mountains, and winelands… And to come back to, where you can kick off your shoes and flop on the couch.
Community Tour, With More Community Foundation
This tour gives a very personal and authentic look into life in the townships. The tour begins with a stop in at the MORE Community Foundation - supported Injongo Educare Crèche, Mfuleni where guests can help to make or serve the children breakfast, and read, play ball and have singalongs with them. This is followed by a short walk down the road to where the crèche began at the home of inspirational founder, Mavis Ngcongolo who will be there to greet the group.
Then it’s on to the township of Khayelitsha where guests can see the whole of Cape Town’s biggest location from Lookout Hill at the Tourism Centre, before taking a drive through the streets, hearing about its history and people as they go.
The tour’s last stop is Langa (meaning ‘sun’) and arguably Cape Town’s most vibrant and progressive settlement. Here, guests visit Langa Heritage Museum in The Old Pass Court building, Guga Sthebe Arts & Culture Centre for local empowerment, and Langa Quarter where the Ikhaya Le Langa project is furthering social enterprise and creating a tourism hotspot.
