Snow Leopard Lodge operates all round the year, offering distinct experiences each season. Winter and Spring are ideal for snow leopard tracking, while summer brings wildflowers, camping, and mountain biking. Wolves, red foxes, eagles, and urial can be spotted year-round, ensuring high-altitude adventures and diverse wildlife viewing across all seasons.
The Winter Program: The winter season is primarily focused on snow leopard and wildlife tracking. Your daily program is entirely dependent on information from the trackers, ensuring the best chances for sightings. Your wildlife excursions are self-contained, in your own vehicle accompanied by guide and carrying hot beverages, snacks, and picnic or packed lunches.
Beyond wildlife, you can also enjoy guided day trips or half-day trips to surrounding monasteries, villages, and ancient petroglyph sites.
Staying at the Snow Leopard Lodge offers the simplest way to look for snow leopards, providing complete flexibility in your length of stay.

The Summer Program: In the summer months, the Snow Leopard Lodge retains its focus on wildlife which, in the warm weather increases hugely to include a greater array of birds, butterflies, colorful insects, reptiles and stunningly beautiful flowers along with raptors, wolves, foxes, Ibex and wild sheep – many with young – and of course the snow leopard which is often sighted due to the lodge’s location and the trackers’ unmatched skill.
Summer also brings comfortable temperatures ideal for walking, day hikes, overnight camping, mountain cycling, bird watching, and photography.
Guests can also enjoy outdoor dinners, BBQs, and stargazing in quiet, beautiful locations.
