Laba Fanjove

Enjoy your own exclusive island, dotted with coconut palms and bordered by a beautiful sandy beach. Dive into crystal clear turquoise water, surrounded by coral reefs and a seclude bay right in front of the light house. Overlooked by one of the last remaining 19th century Lighthouses built by the Germans. Fanjove is the smallest of one of six islands in the Songo Songo Archipelago, one of the most beautiful and unique African islands chains. Wildlife surrounds you, from seabirds to dolphins, who sometimes swim alongside you.

Add to that 18 villas with the most refined bohemian-chic decor. Discreetly nestled in the vegetation, they all overlook the beach or the ocean. To top it all off, there is a spa with cabins overlooking the sea, where thalassotherapy treatments and other beneficial massages are provided.

Fine, delicious, and healthy cuisine. An all-inclusive menu includes drinks, including wines, premium spirits, and cocktails (except champagne). All activities are also included except the Spa, diving and fishing.

WATER SPORTS
Sea kayaks and paddle boards are available to our guests to explore the island and its surroundings by sea.

DIVING AND SNORKELING
Bathed in warm waters (around 28°), which offer visibility of up to 30 meters, Fanjove is a paradise for divers and other snorkeling enthusiasts. To top it all off, a coral reef stretches for 11 kilometers along the island and allows you to observe breathtakingly beautiful underwater landscapes. You can also admire whale sharks (Oct-Mar).

 MARINE SAFARIS
Different species of dolphins frequent the waters surrounding Fanjove Island, including spinner dolphins and bottlenose dolphins. The marine safari is an opportunity to observe them and enjoy the pleasure of a sea trip. You may even have the opportunity to swim alongside them and see whales.

BIRD WATCHING
From November to March, the island is a destination for migratory birds. Armed with a good pair of binoculars and nestled in a discreet observation post, you can appreciate the rich diversity of our island neighbors.

ESCAPE ON A DHOW
Enjoy the sunset and the view of Fanjove during a sea trip aboard a dhow, the traditional sailing boat of East Africa. A gentle cruise to end the day, lulled by the rustling of the water and the flapping of the triangular sail, the one and only, which characterizes this thousand-year-old dhow.
