Nikko Toshogu Shrine
This shrine is dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu. Ieyasu's remains were first entombed at Kunozan in Suruga. Toshogu Shrine was built when his remains were transferred to Nikkozan, after he was conferred the posthumous Shinto name of Tosho Daigongen. The shrine is also famous as one of the power spots of the northern Kanto area.
Rinnoji Temple
Rinnoji is home to several temples and halls. The "Homotsuden" houses many volumes of materials that describe Nikko’s history of over 1,200 years.
Kinugawa River Cruise
The Kinugawa River Cruise treats visitors to the amazing beauty of the ravine. Enjoy a wild ride down the river on a boat skillfully steered by boatman. (Mid-April to mid-November)

Kegon Waterfall
Nikko is home to what are collectively known as the 48 Waterfalls of Nikko, the most famous of which is Kegon Falls. The sight of water dropping from a height of 97 meters is truly one to behold. Kegon Falls is known as one of Japan's three finest waterfalls, each of which are endowed with elegant beauty created by nature.

From Kinugawa Onsen Sanroku station to the peak, it takes three and a half minutes by roapway. At the peak, there is a monkey hill where lucky visitors may come across monkeys and deer frolicking with each other.
