Hermes Mega Catamaran is the first Ultra-Luxury Cruise to sail in the Galapagos Islands. With a guest capacity capped at 20 guests, Hermes provides an unrivaled experience through exclusivity, high end amenities and a crew to guest ratio of almost 1 to 1.  

Aboard Hermes, you discover that you can experience the intimacy and exclusivity of a small vessel while enjoying the comfort and facilities of a large cruise ship. Our seven indoor social areas confirm this. As you enter Hermes’ indoor facilities, the check-in area welcomes you with comfortable armchairs where you can sit down and enjoy your favorite drink while our crew brings your suitcases to your suite.

The indoor bar, located next to the check-in area, offers you a premium selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, all included as part of Hermes’ experience.

Two spacious lounges feature flat screen TVs used by guides for their daily briefings or by yourself to watch videos expanding your knowledge about the Galapagos Islands. We also use them for social celebrations.

Hermes Mega Catamaran is the first Galapagos small vessel offering guests an actual library where you can go to deepen your understanding of the Enchanted Islands. This is also an ideal place if you are in the search of silence and tranquility. The dining hall is a very important place because it hosts one part of Hermes cuisine experience. This is where you delight your palate through the menu designed specially for our guests. Surrounded by panoramic windows, you can continue enjoying the fascinating views of the Galapagos. 

Hermes offers also a variety of outdoor social areas where you can feel the gentle touch of the breeze on your face. The spacious boarding platform is the first one you will discover as you get to the vessel and when you come back after every land excursion and water activity sessions. You can sit down and enjoy the landscapes of the places that you are leaving behind or observe marine wildlife swimming behind the boat.

The aperitif lounge, located on the upper deck, is an ideal place to relax and enjoy your favorite drink while navigating to the next visitor’s site or waiting for your meal.

The sundeck hosts several outdoor social areas. Its open area has a social jacuzzi and reclinable chairs for you to share time with your friends or relatives while tanning in the sun, enjoying your favorite drink, or observing frigate birds fly over you.

The al-fresco dining and the second bar are located in the covered part of the sundeck. You can enjoy the delicious flavors of Hermes’ signature menu or taste new cocktails with the stunning nature of the Galapagos surrounding you. On the sundeck’s bow, the observation area is totally open and offers comfortable seats with tables to continue falling in love with the fascinating Galapagos Islands landscapes.

Suites

Hermes Galapagos Mega Catamaran accommodates 20 guests in 12 state-of-the-art suites, 10 double and 2 single. They are distributed on the main and upper deck and are equipped with a walk-in closet, a fully stocked mini-bar, and a vanity. In addition, they feature floor to ceiling windows and a private balcony. You also have a jacuzzi in each suite, next to a panoramic window overlooking the fascinating landscapes of the Galapagos Islands.

Double suites are 35 sq. meters (377 sq. feet) on average, and all of them can be convertible. Four double suites located on the main deck can be interconnected. The two single suites are 20 sq. meters (200 sq. feet) and are located on the main deck.

Hermes Mega Catamaran was specially designed to explore the Galapagos Islands and offer you a close encounter with nature, and our itineraries include at least two archipelago highlights per route. In this manner, you visit the most remote sites on the Enchanted Islands and observe species making these the best place for wildlife on Earth.

On land, two experienced naturalist guides escort small groups, up to 10 guests, during the excursions. You have a closer interaction with them, and they have time to give you a more in-depth explanation to your questions. You can find walking sticks in your suite in case you need them for this activity.

Hermes is also fully equipped to offer you memorable moments in the water. We have wetsuits and snorkeling equipment available in all sizes to jump in the water and play with the unique marine wildlife of the Galapagos. You also have kayaks and SUPs available for a different experience in one of the most pristine waters in the planet. Otherwise, you can observe marvelous sea turtles, playful sea lions, or any other marine specie from our glass bottom boat if you prefer to avoid the water.

Hermes Mega Catamaran’s flexible itineraries enable you to explore this amazing destination according to your time availability. Two 4-day and two 5-day itineraries are perfect routes if you can stay in the archipelago for a short time. You can combine them into longer experiences from 7 up to 15 days for a more comprehensive experience in Enchanted Islands.
