This private nature reserve boasts the Big 5 and guests are encouraged to take part in the insightful morning and afternoon game drives - the heart of the Garonga experience. One can also try your hand at every activity we have on offer, or you can do simply nothing at all, lazing in the hammock with a good book while watching the grazing impala.

The rooms are light, airy and spacious with large, draped beds and indoor/outdoor showers.
Game Drives
Fulfil your safari dreams with twice daily game drives led by our experienced and knowledgeable guides. In addition to the Big 5 (elephant, leopard, rhino, buffalo and lion), look out for cheetah, spotted hyenas, wild dogs, hippos, crocodiles, diverse plains animals and colorful birdlife.
The Sleep Out Deck
Enjoy a night under the stars on our safari Sleep Out Deck, complete with four-poster bed and dining table for two. A 20-minute drive from the main camp, you will be fully immersed in your natural surrounds overlooking a waterhole that is known to attract a visitor or two.
Star Bath
Stargazing and a good bath are two of life’s greatest pleasures. These are combined in the Star Bath experience, best shared with your loved one. It’s the perfect end to a perfect day in the bush. This bath is semi-covered by a canopy and opens up to the night sky and bush ambience.
Walking Safaris
Stretch those legs and take a walking safari or ‘solitude walk’ with one of our experienced guides/trackers. Get that bit closer to nature and take the time to notice the beauty that lies in the detail of the surrounding bush. You also never know what you might bump into.
