Coconut Grove Beachfront

Located on its own private white sand beach, Coconut Grove Beachfront Cottages is an intimate oceanfront resort on Taveuni. Banana bure is located closest to the beach with fragrant banana trees and hibiscus. From your king size bed, you can be the first one to see the sunrise out of your large wrap around windows. There is a little fridge in the room for your convenience and a ceiling fan spinning over your bed. When you return from a swim it is ten steps from the beach up to the attached hot water honeymoon shower. You can see the ocean while you bathe outdoors in complete privacy. The Mango bure is set up the slope with expansive ocean views. From your private verandah, you can see the island’s famous for the kula birds, which fly in packs from coconut tree to coconut tree. The Mango Bure has a king size bed, overhead fan plus a single bed under the side window, and small fridge for your cold drinks. It is a spacious island room has high ceilings, a “honeymoon Shower” and is just 30 steps from the beach. Last, but not least, the Papaya bure is light and airy and is cooled by the trade winds that rustle through the papaya trees outside. It has a queen size bed, ceiling fan and a little fridge. Its louvered windows provide beautiful views of the ocean and sunrise from your bed. Outside, on your verandah, there are heliconias and hibiscus everywhere, and down a few steps is the outdoor lava rock shower.  The resort’s charming restaurant is on the verandah and offers the freshest seafood and organically grown vegetables. Traditional Fijian dinners and entertainment are offered throughout the week.
