Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge

Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge is an intimate retreat, located on the banks of the Negro River and opposite the Anavilhanas National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with more than 3.5 billion square meters of preserved forest. It is under this charming thatched roof, in this bright and cozy lounge, that travelers exchange stories and impressions about the day's adventures in the forest, read and relax with their favorite drink in hand.

In the swimming pools overlooking the Anavilhanas Archipelago, in the floating bar - with your favorite drink in hand - in the massage room surrounded by the forest, or in the viewpoint facing the immensity of the green and the waters: here, you experience the Brazilian Amazon in all its intensity. For a drink, a stand-up paddle, a dip in the warm water of the Rio Negro or simply to contemplate the immensity of the Amazon, the floating bar is one of the most delightful spaces in our lodge.
The viewpoint is the best place to understand the immensity of the Anavilhanas National Park, this sanctuary of preserved forest that is right in front of the lodge. And thus also realize how privileged this location is.

Surrounded by greenery, the 24 accommodations were inspired by the region's caboclo architecture to blend in with nature in total harmony. Close your eyes and listen to the sounds of the forest!

Anavilhanas is a jungle hotel, immersed in the forest, and there would be no way to make it a reality without considering sustainability as a basic premise. The decision goes beyond more tangible initiatives, such as the efficient use of energy, to take a broad view that also puts the local community at the forefront. We believe in tourism as an important tool for conservation and that's why we've taken on the mission of keeping the forest standing, as well as valuing its people and knowledge.
