Located in the Okavango Delta, 4 Rivers enjoys exclusive use of the western side of the enormous Kwara Private Concession. Only in 2023 did this isolated area — the last pristine vestige of the Okavango — open to pioneering guests. This is the great unexplored!
Set on the banks of the Tsum Tsum River, 4 Rivers is tucked into ancient woodlands and looks across a permanent hippo-filled lagoon to Maboa Island, a stunning landscape to be discovered on nature walks — the specialty!
This area is a refuge to stunning biodiversity due to its confluence of waterways, open plains and forested islands. The wide variety of wildlife includes African wild dogs, lions and leopards and a large cross-section of plains game. Explore this beautiful area on foot, by vehicle or silently through the Delta by seasonal mokoro.
Designed for a classic bush experience, the camp has nine large spacious en-suite tents (including a family tent) featuring a pretty patio, lounge area, plus indoor and outdoor showers. Guests can enjoy delicious meals in the main communal area, which includes a dining room and a bar. Additional amenities include a safari shop and cozy lounge areas. (kwando)
Luxury Safari Tent
(8 ROOMS)
Spacious meru tents raised on stilts above the river banks of the Tsum Tsum. With both indoor and outdoor showers, these large tents are a home from home enjoying beautiful views of the Okavango Delta. Relax in a comfortable arm chair or watch the elephants swim the Tsum Tsum River from privacy of your verandah. Each room is a short walk via a raised boardwalk to the main area, dining room and pool.
Luxury Family Tent
(1 ROOM)
The Family tent, otherwise known as Tent 4, is found a short walk from the main area and dining room. The room consists of two large meru tents (the kids room being slightly smaller) both with an indoor shower while the main tent also has an outdoor shower.
Game Drives - day & night
As 4 rivers in the Kwara Private Reserve, game drives are able to go off-road and continue after sunset, providing guests with significantly better game viewing and photographic opportunities.
Mokoro Excursions (seasonal)
Mokoros are a great way to see and appreciate the delta from a different angle. This activity is seasonal at 4 Rivers due to water levels.
Nature Walks (guided)
Guided Nature walks are offered year round unless the guides deem it unsafe at any particular time.
