Linyanti Bush Camp
With just six luxury tents, Linyanti Bush Camp offers an intimate safari experience in a private concession on the border of Botswana’s iconic Chobe National Park. Set in the heart of a region renowned for its abundant wildlife, the camp sits on the banks of Linyanti Wetlands – an area that is one of the main sources of water during the drier months. Consequently, you can look forward to exceptional and diverse wildlife encounters year-round.
The spacious tents look out over the vast Linyanti landscape where you can enjoy the views from the comfort of your own outdoor seating area. Styled in the traditional safari camp style, with an eclectic scattering of traditional African artefacts, your room comes with all the comfortable amenities you would expect, while the elevated communal area offers a lounge, bar and dining area with a well-stocked book shelf – a welcome retreat after a day of activities.
Spend your time exploring the raw African wilderness on thrilling game drives, get intimate with the surrounding bush on walking safaris and float along the waterways on a mokoro (canoe) excursion. The freedom of being located on a private reserve means our knowledgeable guides operate exclusive night game drives for a glimpse into Botswana’s mesmeric nocturnal world. Whether you observe the wildlife from the safari vehicle or hop aboard a helicopter for panoramic views of the marshes, woodlands and savanna plains below – our experiences will sharpen the senses, offering an in-depth look at Linyanti’s diverse ecosystem.

Walking Safaris
Awaken your senses and discover all that the bush has to offer on a walking safari. Accompanied by one of our experienced walking guides, explore the wild for one to two hours. For a full day walking safari, a private walking guide will need to be pre-booked with us. Children under 16 can experience nature walks around the camp led by our child-certified walking guides as part of the Cub Club.
Mokoro
Traditionally, the mokoro was the only form of transport in the Okavango Delta. Sail through the rivers and tributaries with our River Guides in a dugout canoe made from fibreglass, savouring those moments of peace, and encounter an incredible variety of wildlife along the way.
Night Drives
The private concessions allow for game drives after the sun has set. Experience the bush when elusive nocturnal wildlife awakens to hunt, forage and explore the lands under the cover of darkness.
Scenic Flight
A half-hour scenic helicopter flight is included when you stay 3 nights or more at Linyanti Bush Camp from April to November. Experience the pristine wilderness from a birds-eye view.
Bird Watching
Khwai is a haven for birds, delight in the calls of the Green heron or the African wood owl; photograph the majestic Ayres’s hawk-eagle and Pel’s fishing owl. Or simply sit back and enjoy their beautiful songs.
