Experience the serenity, natural beauty and enchanting culture of Thailand’s Chiang Mai province at our newest Signature Lodge. From its inception, the Lodge was designed to be an integral part of the landscape and enhance nature’s geographical features. Up to sixteen guests will immerse themselves into the Thai culture and enjoy five-star Aggressor amenities and service.
At approximately three times the size of Florida, Thailand shares its borders with Burma, Cambodia, Laos, and Malaysia. Northern Thailand is known for its thickly forested mountains inhabited by several hill tribes, each with its own language and culture. In the provincial capital, Chiang Mai, the old city has noteworthy Buddhist temples dating to the Lanna Kingdom, including 14th-century Wat Chedi Luang. The sacred, gilded Doi Suthep Temple overlooks the city from nearby Mt. Suthep. Best time to go: Nov-Mar.

Notes of interest:
The sacred tree located on the property is about 100 years old and is called Bombax Ceiba and is known as a cotton tree, silk-cotton tree, red silk-cotton red cotton treeor kapok tree. This Asian tropical tree has a straight tall trunk and its leaves are deciduous in winter. Red flowers with petals appear in the spring before the new foliage. It produces a capsule which, when ripe, contains white fibers like cotton. Its trunk bears spikes to deter attacks by animals. Although its stout trunk suggests that it is useful for timber, its wood is too soft to be very useful.
