Kalepo Camp
Kalepo Camp is a small exclusive-use safari camp located at the northern end of Namunyak Conservancy. This luxury tented camp consists of 5 guest tents overlooking a dry river bed, with sweeping views of the majestic Mathews Mountains. Set in the heart of Samburuland, this is the perfect place from which to explore the authentic Samburu people and their culture. Guests can experience everyday life in local villages; meet local people and immerse yourself in daily activities including the 'morning milking' and witness the spectacle of the 'singing wells'.

Two adjacent tastefully appointed and private en-suite canvas tents set under the canopy of massive old Loimugie (Newtonia) Tree, overlooking a dry river bed with views of the adjacent mountains. A communal platform joins the two tents allowing families with young children to feel close, secluded and private. Emperor size beds with the highest quality cotton linen, cool floors and beautiful decor all lend itself to a luxurious tented experience. A small outdoor seating also allows you take in the views and expanse of the river bed. A small outdoor seating is a beautiful addition to this unit and offers one of the best views in the camp.

RETETI ELEPHANT SANCTUARY
The Reteti Elephant Sanctuary was officially opened by the Samburu County Governor, H.E Moses Lenolkulal, on the 20th August 2016. Designed to rescue and release orphaned and abandoned elephant calves, whilst creating much needed benefits to the local people that live alongside them. The Reteti Elephant Sanctuary, is the representation of the communities standing up united for wildlife, in recognition of the value that they can cultivate. Kalepo Camp is the perfect location from which to visit the sanctuary. We can combine it on the flight into or out of camp.
HELICOPTERS
The sky is the limit … Kalepo Camp is the ideal location from which to explore Kenya’s incredible and untamed “Big North”. From Lake Turkana to Cycad forests, from flamingos to the peaks of Mount Kenya, visit places only accessible by helicopter.
