Situated off the north western coast of Madagascar, the island of Nosy Be has always been renowned as the "island of perfumes“ and is also referred to as the "island of smiles“ thanks to the welcoming courteousness of the Sakalava people who live there. The bay of Andilana is undoubtedly the destination of choice on Nosy Be. The resort’s two beaches offer you the luxury of choosing how to enjoy your holiday: the rooms in blocks 100/200 have the convenience of being close to the hotel services and the swimming pool, while blocks 300/400 ensure absolute silence.All located a few meters from the splendid Andilana sea, the rooms are divided into 4 structures on two floors and all include a balcony or a large veranda equipped with a table and chairs.
The 204 rooms are divided into classic, family and suite rooms and offer you the choice between a king size double bed or a double queen size bed. Two shades of color that will welcome you in the room: soft shades of orange and yellow or young shades of green and beige that invite you to indulge in total relaxation.
Since 2017 our rooms have a new look, with a completely renovated bathroom equipped with a large walk-in shower and bidet. The rooms are equipped with all comforts: multilingual satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar, tea / coffee maker, hairdryer, safe.
Classic Room Queen Size - Garden View
The Classic Queen Size Rooms with Garden View afford a delightful view of our private, 15-hectare tropical parkland. Recently renovated, all the rooms have a surface area of around 30m2 and are equipped with two queen-size (160cm x 200cm) beds, air conditioning, a 26" TV with a selection of international channels, a telephone, a minibar (which can be refilled upon request with an extra fee), a kettle and a safety box. The 6m2 renovated bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower, a bidet, a sink and a hairdryer. The rooms are situated on the first floor (with a terrace) or on the ground floor (with a veranda). The terrace/veranda is furnished with a table and two chairs.
Classic Queen or King Size Rooms with Ocean View
Classic Queen or King Size Rooms with Ocean View offer a breathtaking panorama over the crystal-clear waters of Nosy Be's most beautiful and exclusive bay. Recently renovated, all the rooms have a surface area of around 30m2 and are equipped with a king-size (200cm x 200cm) bed, air conditioning, a 26" TV with a selection of international channels, a telephone, a minibar (which can be refilled upon request with an extra fee), a kettle and a safety box. The 6m2 renovated bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower, a bidet, a sink and a hairdryer. The rooms are situated on the first floor (with a terrace) or on the ground floor (with a veranda). The terrace/veranda is furnished with a table and two chairs.
Ocean View Suites
The new Ocean View Suites provide the best accommodation that the Andilana Beach Resort can offer. Delightfully situated at the northern end of Block 200, the Suites can offer – thanks to their generously proportioned and fully equipped terraces – a breathtaking panorama over the crystal-clear waters of Nosy Be's most beautiful and exclusive bay. Designed to provide you with the highest level of comfort, these 70m2 Suites encompass a large main room with stylish Italian furniture, a big and comfortable couch, a kettle for making tea, a coffee machine, a minibar and a 50’’ TV. The bedroom features a king-size (200cm x 200cm) bed, two armchairs and a large 4m2 dressing room with a safety box. The large (9m2) bathroom features a spacious shower box, two sinks, an area with separate toilets and bidet and a hairdryer.
Diving
Nosy Be offers you an exceptional scenario: the third coral reef in the world for the number of different corals present: over 2500 species. A unique biodiversity in the world makes Nosy Be the precious "pearl" of the Indian Ocean. Andilana Beach Diving Center is also a PADI diving training center that guarantees high quality standards, in the name of safety and fun. During your vacation you can be initiated into scuba diving or progress to the level of divemaster, as well as access the numerous specialty courses.
Snorkeling
Snorkeling is an easy, safe and fun activity, perfect for those who want to experience underwater emotions from the surface. It is suitable for adults, children and entire families. The waters of Nosy Be are warm and shallow and the reefs surrounding the island stand out for the beauty and richness of the seabed.
Whale Watching
The Indian Ocean offers one of the most exciting natural spectacles on the planet: thousands of Humpback whales that, during the months of the austral winter, make the migration from Antarctica to the temperate waters of Madagascar. We’ll go out by boat to spot them and, in the case of whale sharks, swim with them.
Sports
The Andilana Beach Resort is the ideal place to give vent to your desire for sport, amateur or competitive. On the beach, a beach volleyball court and a beach tennis court await you, two bowls courts, canoes and many other games for your enjoyment.
Inside the tropical park you will find two lighted tennis courts, a grass soccer field and a health course with 14 stations.
