Ultimate South Africa

The Ultimate South Africa Itinerary
Cape Town & The Peninsula (Days 1–4)
Day 1: Arrival & Speakeasy Tour. Land at Cape Town International Airport and utilize our VIP airport escort service to skip customs queues. Check into a luxury hotel like the Belmond Mount Nelson. In the evening, join a private "Cape Town After Dark" Speakeasy Tour to explore hidden doorways and secret mixology bars.

Day 2: Table Mountain & City Culture. Take the cableway up Table Mountain for panoramic Atlantic views. Spend the afternoon exploring the V&A Waterfront or booking a curator-led private tour at the Norval Foundation Art Museum.

Day 3: The Peninsula Explore. Embark on a private, full-day Peninsula Explore tour driven by a New Frontiers guide. Drive the scenic Chapman’s Peak, visit the African penguin colony at Boulders Beach, and head to the Cape of Good Hope. Enjoy a signature New Frontiers "Wild Picnic" with a fully stocked gourmet pantry built right into your touring vehicle.

Day 4: Marine Adventure or Active Touring. Customize your day with a marine boat safari to view Cape fur seals, go horseback riding on Noordhoek Beach, or zipline over the historic Constantia wine valley.

The Cape Winelands & Overberg (Days 5–6)
Day 5: Culinary Journey in Franschhoek. Transfer to the culinary capital of Franschhoek. Experience an exclusive 6-course tea and food pairing menu at Crofters Kitchen with Rockstar Chef Nicky Gibbs, complete with a walk through her private produce gardens.

Day 6: Hemel-en-Aarde Wine & Whale Watching. Take a day trip via the scenic R44 coastal drive into the Overberg region. Explore the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley for premium Pinot Noir tastings, and head to Hermanus for world-class land-based whale watching.
Greater Kruger Luxury Safari (Days 7–10)
Day 7: Bush Flight to the Greater Kruger. Catch a short domestic flight to Hoedspruit or Skukuza, followed by a private charter flight directly onto a luxury lodge's airstrip. Check into a world-class lodge such as Simbavati River Lodge or Singita Sweni. Head out on your first afternoon game drive and experience a traditional safari "sundowner" drinks stop in the middle of the bush.

Days 8–9: Unrestricted Big Five Game Viewing. Go on twice-daily game drives in open 4x4 vehicles led by expert rangers and trackers. The private reserves surrounding Kruger National Park (like Sabi Sand or Timbavati) allow off-roading to track leopards, lions, rhinos, elephants, and buffalo up close. Spend afternoons relaxing by your private plunge pool or taking a guided bush walk.

Day 10: Final Morning Drive & Departure. Enjoy one last early-morning game drive and a hearty bush breakfast before flying back to Johannesburg or Cape Town to connect with your international flight home. Or, better yet, explore more of South Africa! (newfrontiers)
