Day 3 - Arrive Canberra
On arrival at Canberra Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a three-night stay. The remainder of your day is free to relax or explore the city at your leisure.
Day 4 - Canberra (B)
Join a small-group tour to see all the highlights of Canberra on this full day tour. Witness the wonderful views of Canberra and the region from the top of Mount Ainslie. Visit NCA Exhibition Centre, be guided through the corridors of power at Australia’s Parliament House, survey the Parliamentary Triangle and its National Institutions. Today, it is all about locally grown wine and food. Visits four local Canberra wineries including wine tasting. Stop in Anglesea to spot wild kangaroos and enjoy morning tea in Lorne with Southern Ocean views. Your guide will point out scenic lookouts and share the road’s history, with stops to see koalas at Kennett River and enjoy lunch in Apollo Bay. Day 10 - Kangaroo Island (B,L)
Begin your day with an early pick-up from your Adelaide hotel for a scenic drive through the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula, known for its vineyards, coastal views, and rolling hills, en route to Cape Jervis. Here, board the SeaLink ferry for a 45-minute journey to Kangaroo Island, where a luxury coach and local guide await to introduce you to South Australia’s premier nature destination. Start at Seal Bay Conservation Park for a guided beach walk among a colony of rare Australian sea lions, followed by a delicious two-course lunch. Early this morning you will be collected from your accommodation and transferred to Penneshaw SeaLink Ferry Terminal for your return ferry and coach transfer to Adelaide. The remainder of your day is free.
Day 13 - Depart Adelaide
